The Southport Australian Football Club has been a Gold Coast favourite for many years. Having undergone $5m renovations in 2006 the Southport Sharks offers more than ever before, including a greeting at the reception area by two magnificent shark aquariums housing four live sharks!

Restaurants

The Club houses three restaurants, including the award winning Carmody's Steak & Seafood Grill, perfect for an intimate evening with friends. Frenzy Food Court offers indulgence in everything from wok-seared dishes to wood-fire pizzas. Alternately for a gourmet coffee or light meal Jaquetas Cafe is open all through the day.

Sports Bar

Perfect for any social outing, Mackenzie's Sports Bar is complete with worldwide sports coverage on the many plasma televisions, TAB facilities, and continuous LED sports-newswire feeds. Patrons can enjoy a drink in the outdoor beer garden that plays host to a spectacular fire and water feature and live performances from Gold Coast bands.

Lounge Bars

The expansive Lounge Bar hosts great free live entertainment every day of the week, or for a quiet drink and chat Olive Bar offers comfortable surroundings and a generous range of beverages. The Sharks invite you to try your luck in our massive gaming lounge, housing 280 poker machines.

Kids Zone

Not just for adults, the club has Wobbygongs, a grand new kids room with plenty of activities to accommodate toddlers to teens. With an indoor rock climbing wall, theatrettes for movies, playstations, an outdoor play area, and games you'll have trouble getting the kids to leave!

Bottleshop

Why not pick something up from Fins Wine Cellar on the way out, stocking over 200 wines, beers and liquors, with helpful and experienced staff to help you make that perfect selection.

The Great White Deck

The upgraded Great White Deck runs the length of the dining and gaming rooms and overlooks the immaculate Fankhauser Reserve. Part of the deck serves as a designated smoking area, the most-part being an alfresco dining area, making for a great vantage point for home matches of our championship AFLQ team, the Southport Sharks.

The Functions Centre

Situated at the northern end of the Gold Coast, THE FUNCTIONS CENTRE is perfectly designed to cater for any event you wish to plan. Whether you are organising an intimate party or a large business conference, our award-winning rooms give us the flexibility to cater for any size function, convention or conference from 10 attendees to 1000.
