Grumpys is nestled amid towering coconut palms on the banks of the Nerang River, only a short distance from most Surfers Paradise hotels. Dining at The Terrace at night, you can look across the bay to the majestic skyline reflected as a thousand lights on the river.

Grumpy's offers four venues for the price of one; the al fresco delights of the terrace, innovative and exciting fine dining in the Sante Fe Room, a romantic candlelit dinner venue in The Courtyard and the glittering cosmopolitan social scene of the Adobe Bar.

The restaurant design has artfully maintained a feeling of intimacy, yet comfortably seats as many as 200 people.

Grumpy's was designed by leading architects and interior decorators. Their painstaking attention to detail is reflected in the handmade tables and chairs, the specially treated timbers and the hand cut tiles, imported from all parts of the world. The fabulous wrought iron work and light fittings were designed and manufactured in Surfers Paradise.
